Bringing together people together at the intersection of environmental and economic sustainability to improve the lives of everyone in our community, Noyo Harbor Blue Economy aims to maintain the heritage and culture of the Mendocino Coast, while transitioning to become more sustainable and economically vibrant.

Mantra

There are few places on earth as naturally beautiful and productive as the area of California’s North Coast in and around the City of Fort Bragg. And yet, since the decline of the timber and fishing industry, the region has struggled to maintain a local economy that offers the promise of economic security and prosperity for everyone who lives here. This is the fundamental issue the Noyo Ocean Collective was founded to address. In developing the Noyo Harbor Blue Economy Visioning, Resiliency and Implementation Plan, the Collective is presenting solutions that will sustainably improve the social, economic, and environmental conditions of the region, while maintaining the cultural heritage of the people who have lived here for generations.
